Certification Engineer in Operations and Maintenance

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our offshore wind farms, Sandbank and DanTysk. Your primary focus will be on managing the certification process, ensuring compliance with German regulations, and maintaining a high level of quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage O&M certification tasks in accordance with German regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive certification strategy, ensuring adaptability to changing regulatory environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including asset management, consenting, operations, and engineering, to ensure effective task management and risk mitigation.
- Ensure timely reporting to authorities and stakeholders, and follow up on requirements and conditions.
- Participate in authority meetings and stakeholder associations, representing Vattenfall's interests.
- Lead technical and commercial negotiations with inspectors, certification bodies, and service providers, ensuring certification requirements are met and commercial agreements are aligned.
- Contribute to the development of procedures and tools within the Certification Team, aligning with Vattenfall's quality management system.
- University degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong technical understanding, preferably with experience in offshore wind or related industries.
- Proven project management skills and ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Experience in managing independent certification bodies and knowledge of certification processes in offshore wind projects.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret regulations and engineering problems.
- Motivated to work in multinational teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in German and English.
