Head of Application Competence Center
Our Aramid products are utilized across a multitude of sectors, including tire reinforcement, aerospace composites, and ballistic protection. We leverage our product knowledge alongside extensive application expertise to develop specialized Twaron yarns and fabrics, assisting our clients in fulfilling their customers' requirements efficiently.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and developing the ACC team
- Overseeing the operational effectiveness of the ACC
- Ensuring adherence to legal regulations
- Managing budget planning and financial oversight
- Formulating and executing investment strategies
- Collaborating with stakeholders (including Authorities, Technical Teams, Sales, Clients, etc.)
- Promoting a safe working environment in partnership with the HSE manager
You will be based in a dynamic environment, reporting to the Global Technology and Application Manager for Ballistics, within the Teijin Aramid Research & Innovation Centre.
Your Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of leadership experience
- Technical expertise or managerial experience in a laboratory or production context
- A degree in Science, State-certified Technical Engineering, or a Bachelor Professional qualification
- Able to thrive in a collaborative and diverse international setting
- Exceptional communication skills with cultural sensitivity
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in German is required
- Strong commitment to safety protocols
