About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Network Administrator (m/w/d) to join our dynamic IT team at Schwertfels Consulting GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining complex IT infrastructures, ensuring the security and integrity of our network systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain complex IT infrastructures, including network devices, servers, and storage systems.
  • Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize system efficiency.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and issues.
Requirements
  • Completed education in a relevant field, such as Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Proven experience in IT system administration, including network management and security.
  • Strong knowledge of network technologies, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products, including MS SQL, MS SharePoint, MS Azure, M365, Active Directory, Exchange, and RDS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
