International Tax Manager

Job Title: International Tax Manager

Signode is a leading global manufacturer of packaging solutions, and our European Tax Department is at the forefront of ensuring our business complies with tax regulations while optimizing tax strategies to support growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure current and deferred tax compliance, review international tax reporting, and manage tax return preparation, filing, and validation.
  • Tax Advisory and Support: Oversee local tax advisors, handle tax filings, manage tax payments, and provide tax accounting training and in-house advisory services.
  • Transfer Pricing and Audits: Manage and document transfer pricing reports, support audits, and oversee related projects.
  • Tax Strategy and Planning: Execute and implement tax strategies, identify planning opportunities, and limit tax exposure.
  • Best Practices and Collaboration: Develop best practices, collaborate with business teams, and engage with business leaders.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Proactive problem-solving, adapt to changing priorities, and support tax audits in Europe.

Requirements:

  • Education in Business, Tax, or Finance (specific tax qualifications a plus).
  • Strong experience in tax accounting and compliance, ideally internationally.
  • Proficient in Excel and ERP systems like DATEV, AX, and Tax filing systems.
  • Proficient in English and German, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Independent, efficient, flexible, proactive attitude, and willingness to travel as needed.
