Senior Java Developer Position in Hannover

About the Role:
As a Senior Java Developer at Maurer Electronics GmbH, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software components that meet the company's high standards. Your expertise in Java ecosystem, including Spring Boot/Spring, JEE, Groovy, and more, will be crucial in creating scalable and efficient software systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceive, develop, and maintain software components that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Maintain and enhance existing software systems to ensure they remain up-to-date and efficient.
- Create targeted documentation of implementations to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Assist with software architecture and design to ensure alignment with the company's overall strategy.
- Conduct component and system tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software systems.
- Participate actively in the agile development process to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
- Experience with Design Patterns and Clean-Code principles.
- Proficiency in Java ecosystem, including Spring Boot/Spring, JEE, Groovy, and more.
- Practical knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and more.
- Experience with agile methods and DevOps practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and team orientation.
- Proficient in German and English (B2 level minimum).
