Experienced Java Developer for Agile Team

Are you a skilled Java developer looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced Java Fullstack Developer to join our agile Development Team at Hannover Re.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Life & Health reinsurance division in digitalising their processes through the development of the automated underwriting system hr | ReFlex
  • Design and develop new functionalities for the system
  • Further develop the system and software architecture
  • Ensure a high software security standard
  • Implement a DevOps structure on the basis of clouds and containers
  • Work on an agile Scrum team with internal and external colleagues in an international environment
  • Be the technical point of contact for product owners

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in Full Stack Java and Angular software development and architecture
  • Degree in computer science or business IT and/or technical/commercial qualification with further training as a software developer
  • Knowledge of Java, Spring, Angular Framework, Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, AWS Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Independent user skills in German and English
  • Structured and detail-oriented way of working and ability to multitask

We offer a hybrid work model with flexible working hours and 30 days of annual leave, as well as up to 20 days a year to work abroad within the EU Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland.
