Experienced Java Developer for Agile Team

Are you a skilled Java developer looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced Java developer to join our agile development team at Hannover Re. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development of our automated underwriting system, hr | ReFlex.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of the automated underwriting system, hr | ReFlex, and contribute to the digital transformation of our Life and Health reinsurance division.
  • Design and develop new functionalities for our system, ensuring a high level of software security and quality.
  • Collaborate with internal and external colleagues in an international environment, working on an agile Scrum team.
  • Provide technical support to product owners and ensure the successful implementation of new features.

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in Full Stack Java and Angular software development and architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, and Angular Framework, as well as experience with Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, AWS Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
  • A structured and detail-oriented approach to work, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
