We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our agile Development Team at Hannover Re, a leading reinsurer in the life and health product teams. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development of our automated underwriting system, hr | ReFlex.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of the automated underwriting system, hr | ReFlex, and contribute to the digital transformation of our Life and Health reinsurance division.
  • Design and develop new functionalities, further develop the system and software architecture, and ensure a high software security standard.
  • Implement a DevOps structure based on clouds and containers and work on an agile Scrum team with internal and external colleagues in an international environment.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for product owners and provide expert advice on Java, Spring, and Angular Framework.
Requirements:
  • Professional experience in Full Stack Java and Angular software development and architecture.
  • Degree in computer science or business IT and/or technical/commercial qualification with further training as a software developer.
  • Knowledge of Java, Spring, Angular Framework, Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, AWS Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Independent user skills in German and English.
  • Structured, detail-oriented way of working and ability to multitask.
