Role Overview
As a Senior Consultant focusing on Enterprise Solutions with an emphasis on SAP, you will be pivotal in guiding our clients through complex IT challenges.

With the impending transition to the SAP S/4HANA platform and the upcoming maintenance halt in 2027, our clients face unique hurdles that require expert navigation.

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will collaborate with teams from Platinion GmbH and The Boston Consulting Group on both local and international projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients in SAP S/4 projects across the entire supply chain, from initial requirements gathering to solution design, implementation, testing, training, and deployment.
  • Defining tailored SAP S/4 solutions that align with our clients' value chains and necessary SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, TM, PS/PP, SCM, R&D, PLM, CRM, SRM, HCM, etc.).
  • Implementing best practices in the assessment, specification, and execution of user requirements, particularly to minimize one-time and ongoing costs.
  • Leading technical management of SAP S/4 implementation and migration initiatives or specific areas of focus.
  • Managing requirements within SAP S/4HANA projects, including facilitating workshops with business process managers.
  • Overseeing the customization and prototyping of SAP S/4HANA solutions.
  • Providing technical and methodological expertise to support the sale of significant ERP/SAP projects.
  • Contributing to the advancement of ERP/SAP S/4 knowledge at BCG Platinion through participation in conferences, development of training materials, or writing technical articles.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you should possess:
  • A degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in strategic ERP/SAP projects.
  • Technical proficiency in typical end-to-end processes relevant to ERP (Purchase-2-Pay, Order-2-Cash, Lead-2-Quote, Record-2-Report, Hire-2-Retire, etc.) and their implementation in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Familiarity with specific SAP industry solutions (IS-U, IS-H, IS-M, etc.), specialist SAP add-ons (e.g., APO/IBP, Treasury/BCM, FSCM, Transportation Management, BPC/SEM, etc.), and analytical SAP tools (e.g., SAP BW/BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Digital Boardroom, etc.).
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual abilities.
  • Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.
  • A strong client and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and presentation skills, along with intellectual agility.
  • The capability to align individuals and organizations towards common objectives.
