As a Senior Consultant specializing in Enterprise Solutions with a focus on SAP, you will be instrumental in guiding our clients through complex IT challenges.
With the impending transition to SAP S/4HANA and the associated maintenance considerations, our clients face unique hurdles that require expert navigation.
Your role will involve collaborating with both local and international teams from BCG Platinion and The Boston Consulting Group on diverse customer projects.Your Responsibilities
- Assist clients in SAP S/4 projects across the entire supply chain, encompassing everything from requirements gathering to solution design, implementation, testing, training, and rollout.
- Develop tailored SAP S/4 solutions aligned with our clients' value chains and the necessary SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, TM, PS/PP, SCM, R&D, PLM, CRM, SRM, HCM, etc.).
- Implement best practices in evaluating, specifying, and executing user requirements, focusing on minimizing one-time and ongoing costs.
- Oversee technical aspects of SAP S/4 implementation and migration projects or specific domains.
- Manage requirements within SAP S/4HANA projects, including leading workshops with business process managers.
- Prototype and customize SAP S/4HANA solutions effectively.
- Provide technical and methodological expertise to support the sale of large ERP/SAP projects.
- Contribute to the advancement of ERP/SAP S/4 topics at BCG Platinion through participation in conferences, development of training materials, or writing technical articles.
- A degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in strategic ERP/SAP projects.
- Technical expertise in typical end-to-end processes relevant to ERP (Purchase-2-Pay, Order-2-Cash, Lead-2-Quote, Record-2-Report, Hire-2-Retire, etc.) and their implementation in SAP S/4HANA.
- Familiarity with specific SAP industry solutions (IS-U, IS-H, IS-M, etc.), specialist SAP add-ons (e.g., APO/IBP, Treasury/BCM, FSCM, Transportation Management, BPC/SEM, etc.), and analytical SAP tools (e.g., SAP BW/BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Digital Boardroom, etc.).
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual abilities.
- Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.
- Strong client focus and results orientation.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and presentation skills, along with intellectual agility.
- Aptitude for aligning individuals and organizations towards common objectives.
