Role Overview
As a Senior Consultant specializing in Enterprise Solutions with a focus on SAP, you will play a crucial role in guiding our clients through complex IT challenges.

With the impending transition to the SAP S/4HANA platform, particularly in light of the upcoming maintenance halt in 2027, our clients face unique hurdles that require expert navigation.

Your Responsibilities
In collaboration with colleagues from Platinion GmbH and The Boston Consulting Group, you will engage in both local and international projects.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Assisting clients throughout SAP S/4 projects, covering the entire supply chain from needs assessment to solution architecture, implementation, testing, training, and deployment.
  • Designing and defining tailored SAP S/4 solutions that align with our clients' value chains and necessary SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, TM, PS/PP, SCM, R&D, PLM, CRM, SRM, HCM, etc.).
  • Implementing best practices in evaluating, specifying, and executing user requirements, with a focus on minimizing one-time and ongoing costs.
  • Leading technical aspects of SAP S/4 implementation and migration initiatives.
  • Managing requirements within SAP S/4HANA projects, including conducting specialized workshops with business process leaders.
  • Overseeing and prototyping customizations of SAP S/4HANA solutions.
  • Providing technical and methodological support in the sales of significant ERP/SAP projects.
  • Contributing to the advancement of ERP/SAP S/4 topics at BCG Platinion through participation in conferences, developing training materials, or authoring technical articles.
Your Profile
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • A degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in strategic ERP/SAP projects.
  • Technical expertise in typical end-to-end processes relevant to ERP (Purchase-2-Pay, Order-2-Cash, Lead-2-Quote, Record-2-Report, Hire-2-Retire, etc.) and their implementation in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Familiarity with specific SAP industry solutions (IS-U, IS-H, IS-M, etc.), specialized SAP add-ons (e.g., APO/IBP, Treasury/BCM, FSCM, Transportation Management, BPC/SEM, etc.), and analytical SAP tools (e.g., SAP BW/BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Digital Boardroom, etc.).
  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual abilities.
  • Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.
  • A strong client and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and presentation skills, along with intellectual agility.
