About the Role

ZF is seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team in the DACH region. As a key member of our Commercial Strategy and Sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business channels, negotiating commercial agreements, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business channels, including distributors, resellers, associations, software partners, and fleets.
  • Negotiate and close commercial agreements to drive product penetration and revenue growth.
  • Conduct market research to understand the unique needs and potential of the fleet management sector in the DACH region.
  • Engage with key customers, fostering strong relationships and closing sales deals.
  • Implement a sales plan to expand the company's customer base and ensure a strong presence in the market.
  • Liaise with the product and marketing teams to provide on-the-ground insights and feedback from customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to maximize the impact of promotional campaigns for our solutions in the DACH region.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market activities, and competitors, and adjust field sales strategies accordingly.
  • Manage and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular field visits and follow-ups.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure a consistent and excellent customer experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven field sales, sales development, channel development, or business development experience, preferably in the diagnostics, fleet management, SaaS, or tech industry, with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and develop business channels on the ground.
  • Strong hunter mentality and negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully closing deals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Good understanding of the automotive German market, including diagnostics and garages, workshops, fleets, and distributors.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as sales, marketing, and customer service.
  • Proven track record of achieving field sales, sales, and channel targets, and driving business growth.
  • Strong experience in managing key customer relationships and closing strategic opportunities in the field.
  • Fluent English and German, with additional languages a strong plus.
