ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Junior Analyst to become a vital part of our team located in the EMEA Shared Services Center. You will collaborate with a group of approximately 10 professionals to ensure the efficient, precise, and timely execution of Accounts Payable responsibilities, which encompass Invoice Processing, Travel and Expense management, and Payments. This role requires adherence to both internal protocols and external regulatory standards.
KEY EXPECTATIONS
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Students are encouraged to apply if available for full-time work.
- Proficiency in English at B1/B2 level, both written and spoken.
- Prior experience in Accounts Payable and familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to engage with diverse cultures and collaborate across various organizational levels and functions.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain efficiency and high standards in AP processes.
- Drive value and impact through daily Accounts Payable operations:
- Process invoices in compliance with accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Monitor payment timelines and oversee payment execution.
- Address internal and external inquiries, including those from vendors and employees.
- Manage travel and expense claims.
- Conduct AP reconciliation and generate reports.
- Ensure transactions are recorded in line with accounting policies.
- Engage in continuous improvement and standardization initiatives.
- Lead independent simplification and continuous improvement projects and resolve issues.
- Create and update process documentation (SOP).
- Collaborate with fellow AP team members.
- Perform daily tasks and interact with personnel at all levels within and outside the organization.
- Work with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
- Adhere to existing policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and maintain service quality.
- Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as required.
