Senior Category Manager

Telefónica Global Services is the Global Procurement team of the Telefónica Group, supporting Telefónica Operations in Europe and Latin America. This includes global responsibilities in all procurement opportunities.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement category strategies to maximize efficiencies for Telefónica, with an end-to-end view.
- Lead the implementation of category strategies, ensuring effective process execution.
- Manage the negotiation and RFP process to secure optimal procurement outcomes.
Job Holder Profile
- Computer Science Engineer or relevant studies, aligned with the identified categories.
Technical Competences
- Proven experience in complex procurement roles, with in-depth knowledge of the IT market and enterprise projects.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and drive improvement opportunities.
- Strategic and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating inefficiencies.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, with German or Portuguese an advantage.
