Key Responsibilities:- Create sales opportunities in the CRM system by identifying customer needs and tracking relevant sales leads.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to deepen existing relationships and establish new ones.
- Process customer inquiries and forward them to the central quotation department in Karlsruhe.
- Check and manage quotations and orders.
- Collaborate with the operations team in the Europe Hub in Karlsruhe to clarify questions and develop solutions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, engineering technology, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in the process industry and/or automation technology.
- Strong customer focus and ability to turn customer problems into commercial solutions.
- Fluency in German and English, with good intercultural communication skills.
- Ability to present yourself and your topics well and interact with customers.
- Confidence in a dynamic business environment and ability to apply problem-solving skills under time pressure.
- Ability to work with technically challenging products and see things through to a good conclusion.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of working time within your sales territory, sometimes internationally.
- Car driver's license required.
