Apleona stands as a premier provider of Facilities Management Services across Europe, holding a leading position in Germany. As a dynamic and innovative organization, we are dedicated to excellence and forward-thinking solutions. Our goal is to establish the most sophisticated and professional platform in our sector.

We are in search of a Transformation Manager for our international division. This newly established role is crucial in assisting the CTO International with the execution of strategic initiatives and leading transformation, professionalization, and optimization efforts throughout our International Division. You will engage with key stakeholders within the Apleona Group, ranging from Executive Board Members to Central Support Teams and Country Teams. As the division expands, your responsibilities are expected to evolve as well.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning, Execution & Reporting:

  • Oversee the development and coordination of our PMO Office for International, managing key corporate projects for BU International.
  • Translate our Apleona International Strategy into a comprehensive Value Creation Plan (VCP) with detailed measures and regular reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with regional leadership and group support functions to align strategic business planning processes and execution.

2. Transformation & Professionalization:

  • Lead the professionalization of FMI and Country support functions in accordance with Group and International Strategies (e.g., IT, Procurement, HR).
  • Facilitate the transfer of Group & FMI knowledge to countries to enhance professionalization (e.g., Apleona Go, Clubs & Committees) of essential support functions.
  • Establish and elevate professional standards, processes, and teams across FMI Support Functions.

3. Performance, Optimization, and Synergies:

  • Implement optimization measures with Regional and Country teams to enhance operational efficiencies and profitability (e.g., Procurement, Self-Delivery, or SG&A savings).
  • Direct Group resources and initiatives (e.g., Apleona GO, PMI, IT) to execute targeted initiatives.
  • Monitor and ensure the successful achievement of synergy targets from International acquisitions, collaborating with and supporting country and Group PMI teams.
  • Provide structured reporting on optimization and synergy measures into the VCP, including gap analysis and corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in management consulting, with a focus on business transformation, optimization measures, and strategy development.
  • Education: An advanced degree (MBA) is advantageous; a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or Real Estate Management is required.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and drive cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders effectively, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting data and trends, and demonstrating initiative for successful project implementation.
  • Financial Management: Proficient understanding of P&L and key drivers to enhance margin and profitability, with a solid grasp of financial performance concepts.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders and present business cases effectively.
  • Adaptability: Ability to excel in a dynamic business environment, demonstrating a commitment to continuous development and a willingness to engage in both strategic planning and implementation.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is essential, along with fluency in at least one language relevant to the region.
