Accounts Payable Team Leader

Exciting opportunity to oversee a dynamic team within the finance sector

  • Manage a group of six professionals in the accounts payable division, while engaging in daily accounting responsibilities.
  • Accountable for the precise and prompt execution of accounts payable transactions within the SAP platform, ensuring adherence to internal controls.
  • Evaluate, process, and reconcile vendor invoices, travel reimbursements, and credit card statements. Address account discrepancies and ensure accurate reconciliations.
  • Administer vendor master data in SAP and manage collections effectively.
  • Assist in the monthly and annual financial closing processes while monitoring reconciliation accounts.
  • Guarantee compliance with internal procedures and guidelines, including legal stipulations related to invoicing.
  • Provide support to the tax department, particularly concerning VAT matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or a commercial background in accounting.
  • Multiple years of experience in finance, accounting, or accounts payable is preferred.
  • Experience in leadership roles and familiarity with Purchase-2-Pay processes is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and SAP.
  • Fluent in German with a good command of English.
