Payables Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Team Lead to join our team at Q CELLS. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading the credit team and overseeing the accurate and timely processing of creditor transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the credit team and provide guidance on financial operations, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the processing of creditor transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Provide training and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proven leadership skills and experience in managing a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP or other accounting software.
