As the Senior Manager of Software Development at Sonova, you will have a crucial role in solving key business challenges and improving customer experience across various markets. You will work with a dynamic and growing team, offering you the opportunity to make a significant impact.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to your engineering team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their business requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Lead the design and development of innovative software solutions, utilizing the latest technologies and integrating marketing tools.
  • Mentor and inspire team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and create opportunities for career growth, ensuring the development of a high-performing team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the development process, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Contribute to software development tasks such as coding, testing, and code reviews, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
  • Manage project execution in partnership with business stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and meeting customer expectations.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including architecture designs and integration details, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Your Ideal Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
  • Proven track record of working with various business functions and a passion for problem-solving, with a focus on delivering business value.
  • Experience leading and motivating engineering teams, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and communication.
  • Dedication to building high-quality software and driving continuous improvement, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects effectively, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS, with a strong understanding of cloud-based technologies.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and Terraform, with a strong understanding of software development methodologies.
