The Senior Procurement Manager for Packaging Solutions is accountable for crafting and executing procurement strategies tailored for plastic materials, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies that drive cost efficiency and sustainability.
- Establishing and nurturing a robust supplier network.
- Managing the complete tendering, negotiation, and procurement cycle.
- Standardizing and revising contractual agreements.
- Conducting comprehensive market research and analyzing pricing trends.
- Overseeing the bidding process from initial negotiations to final contract execution.
- Exploring and applying innovative, sustainable solutions in procurement.
- Performing supplier audits and annual assessments in partnership with quality assurance teams.
- Strategically optimizing the supplier portfolio to enhance performance.
- Providing guidance to various departments on procurement protocols and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
- A degree in business administration or engineering is required.
- Extensive experience in a comparable role, ideally within an international setting.
- Expertise in ERP systems, particularly SAP Ariba, along with proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Willingness to travel and possess strong intercultural communication skills.
- Fluency in both German and English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
