About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Product Manager to join our team at Safran Passenger Innovations. As a key member of our Product Management team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our connectivity software products throughout their entire lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Management: Execute product management tasks in coordination with Program Management, ensuring alignment with Safran's PROMPT process.
  • Software Product Definition: Define software products for inflight connectivity, roadmaps, and features, ensuring compatibility with system-wide software functions and hardware requirements.
  • Requirements Management: Define product briefs, use cases, high-level requirements, and acceptance criteria for connectivity software products.
  • Supplier Management: Coordinate with internal and external suppliers to develop software products, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Technical Evolution: Manage and assess technological evolutions, feature upgrades, security patches, and change requests for software products.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and anticipate their needs, translating them into software product requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Successfully completed studies in computer sciences or a comparable field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in Software Product Management or Product Development.
  • Skills: Ability to envision and analyze software products holistically at the system level, good working knowledge of networking protocols, virtual machines, cloud environments, and product development processes.
  • Tools: Experience with project and product management tools, such as Trello, Kanban, JIRA, and MS Office applications.
