We are Safran Passenger Innovations, a leading innovator in the aviation industry, seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Product Ownership team, you will be responsible for leading the development of new In-Flight Connectivity Products/LRUs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project plans, milestones, and project risks, and driving the execution effort to deliver products according to plan.
Main Responsibilities- Manage the timely and quality completion of development milestones
- Ensure customer needs/requirements are properly implemented in the product
- Ensure all deliveries follow the corresponding release process and comply with quality and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and maintain project plans, milestones, hardware compatibility, and software demands
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive required actions to execute the Product development plan
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to foster open communication channels to drive project execution according to plan
- Track and report project status and perform risk management with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks
- Motivate and guide project teams for results and completion
- Think critically about tasks at hand and maintain a good understanding of problems at project level
- Analyze and evaluate existing processes to identify room for improvement and implement necessary changes
- Follow competitors and IFC industry market trends
- Continuously contribute to improve established processes
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field
- 3-5 years of experience working on product management or technical project management
- Good working knowledge in the field of RF systems, microwave design, antennas, wireless technologies
- Working knowledge and familiarity with Product Development processes and Software Life Cycle is desirable
- Experience with Project and Product Management tools (e.g., Trello, Kanban, JIRA, MS Office applications including Excel, Project etc.)
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Proactive, organized, and a team player mindset
- Capable of working independently, with minimal direction, on multiple concurrent tasks
- Able to use discretion and independent judgment when making decisions on behalf of the company
- Capable of negotiating mutually agreeable conclusions to conflicts
- Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented
