Your Responsibilities
- Develop business opportunities and cultivate strong client relationships by managing new clients within Germany and Europe in collaboration with your EU project colleagues.
- Process inquiries and tender requests related to project cargo and general cargo (ITB, RFI, RFQ).
- Demonstrate ownership and drive to support the implementation of strategic objectives.
- Expertly manage tender processes, working with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class services.
- Skillfully negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and industry professionals.
- Ensure seamless coordination and communication between sales and operational teams.
- Stay abreast of market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and provide valuable market insights.
- Troubleshoot issues, manage claims, and ensure smooth project execution.
- Take ownership of profit and loss accountability for assigned projects.
- Lead and motivate your team to achieve shared goals.
- Meet customer requirements and exceed expectations.
- Set priorities and effectively allocate resources to maximize efficiency.
- Drive growth within your assigned accounts and business segments.
Your Profile
- Over nine years of experience in project cargo forwarding, including breakbulk, heavy lift, international, and container operations.
- A professional qualification from an accredited institution specializing in logistics and freight forwarding.
- Commercial and operational experience in general cargo, break bulk, oversized, and heavy lift (multimodal) shipments.
- Proven ability to implement business development plans and direct all aspects of project delivery.
- Willingness to travel for national and international business trips.
- Excellent knowledge of German and English, enabling effective communication in a global environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft software applications and other industry-leading logistics tools.
- Analytical skills to develop innovative logistics solutions.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Collaborative team player with a customer-centric approach.
- Flexible, highly committed, energetic, persistent, and resilient.
- Excellent decision-making abilities and adaptability to changing policies and procedures.
