Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team in the development of cutting-edge silicon carbide (SiC) power semiconductor devices for future automotive applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative SiC power semiconductor devices tailored for automotive electronics.
  • Analyze current and future application requirements to ensure they are met through advanced manufacturing techniques, materials, and device innovations.
  • Conduct TCAD validation for new device designs and oversee the comprehensive development and integration of our SiC MOSFET technologies, focusing on Front End Of Line (FEOL) processes.
  • Manage process runs, mask layouts, and component characterization in collaboration with both internal and external partners, assessing results against established requirements.
  • Support the implementation of new manufacturing processes and equipment in semiconductor production until they are ready for mass production.
  • Provide ongoing product support post-series release, facilitating process and product transfers within our global manufacturing network.
Qualifications
  • Education: A degree in physics, semiconductor technology, material sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proficient understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and techniques; familiarity with simulation methods (including TCAD/FEM); experience in power semiconductor development, particularly SiC, is advantageous; strong grasp of statistical methods and problem-solving techniques.
  • Personal Attributes: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset; goal-oriented approach to work.
  • Work Environment: Engage with team members in a hybrid working model, meeting on-site three days a week for collaboration.
  • Motivation: A strong willingness to work independently and across various departments in a complex environment.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
