Job Summary

Colt Technology Services is seeking a skilled Commissioning Specialist to oversee the thorough testing, verification, and validation process of data centre infrastructure before it becomes operational. As a key member of the project team, you will work collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure that the data centres we design and build operate as expected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commissioning plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of data centre infrastructure
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with commissioning activities
  • Work with external commissioning agents to ensure compliance with Ashrae level 1-6 data centre commissioning process
  • Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders on commissioning progress and outcomes
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with senior-level stakeholders and external partners

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of data centre engineering principles and practical experience with system operation
  • Ability to manage programmes and budgets, and take measured decisions regarding project risk
  • Knowledge of Ashrae level 1-6 data centre commissioning process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
