Accounts Receivable Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE
In the order-to-cash cycle, we are dedicated to maintaining accurate master data throughout the supply chain, assessing potential credit risks, and ensuring timely execution of payment processes. Our close relationship with clients enables us to contribute significantly to BASF's success through tailored and innovative solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality customer accounting services.
- You will manage the posting of incoming payments, handle accounts receivable transactions, and resolve payment discrepancies with clients.
- You will maintain regular communication with customers, sales teams, credit management, and colleagues from various financial departments.
- You will assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial closings for BASF Group entities and support in cases of insolvency and bad debts.
- Your expertise and innovative ideas will help streamline our workflows in collaboration with your colleagues.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed formal vocational training in business or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.
- Initial professional experience in accounts receivable management.
- Proficient in SAP R/3 FI or S/4 Hana and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills in Turkish and English.
- Knowledge of additional languages such as Italian, French, Spanish, or German is advantageous.
- A passion for working in diverse, intercultural teams.
