Quality Assurance Specialist Stuttgart

Position Overview:
The Quality Advisor role is essential for overseeing and enhancing the overall quality of products at various sales points.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ongoing assessments and analyses of kiosks, proposing actionable plans and ensuring their implementation.
- Engage in the development and execution of quality initiatives across multiple countries.
- Establish and maintain relationships with various departments, including the Quality Department.
- Report directly to the Quality Manager of the respective country.
- Collaborate with kiosks, partners, and external auditors to uphold quality standards.
Working Conditions:
Flexibility in working hours is necessary, with occasional early mornings and late evenings required.
Travel across the country to conduct audits and occasional trips to other European locations may be necessary.
Performance Metrics:
Achieve a minimum of 85% pass rate on hygiene and concept evaluations.
Essential Duties:
- Assist in formulating and executing action plans to implement the food safety strategy set by the Quality Department.
- Travel nationwide to perform regular audits of existing kiosks, compile detailed evaluation reports, and follow up with corrective action plans.
- Provide field support and training to local teams, focusing on quality-related issues, including hygiene and food safety.
- Deliver both theoretical and practical food safety training to kiosk staff and management.
- Foster strong, lasting relationships with kiosk personnel.
- Analyze inspection results and conduct microbiological assessments.
- Address non-compliance issues and customer complaints to enhance food safety standards.
- Participate in internal review meetings to discuss food safety and quality matters.
- Represent the organization in interactions with third parties, including auditors and food safety authorities.
- Oversee the accuracy and calibration of key measuring instruments, ensuring both internal and external verification as needed.
- Stay informed about industry advancements in food safety regulations and technologies, providing relevant advice to the business.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of acceptable standards regarding ingredient procurement, hygiene equipment, and overall operational practices.
- Engage in country or cross-country projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role within the food and beverage, hospitality, or food production sectors.
- Willingness to travel extensively for kiosk audits.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a food safety-related field or equivalent education.
- Familiarity with HACCP, ISO 22000, and food safety legislation (both EU and national).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; additional language skills are a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
- Confidence in defending decisions when challenged.
- Knowledge of Asian culinary practices is an advantage.
