Strategic Sales Director for Medical Education

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at AMBOSS. As a Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in fostering partnerships with medical schools throughout the United States. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including deans, faculty members, and administrative staff at medical institutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute a Strategic Sales Plan: Create and implement a sales strategy to target medical schools across the United States, identifying opportunities for partnership and collaboration to promote AMBOSS products and services.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at medical institutions, including deans, faculty members, and administrative staff.
  • Lead Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct presentations and demonstrations of AMBOSS offerings to faculty members, administrators, and student representatives.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to tailor sales strategies and materials to meet the needs of medical schools.
  • Track and Analyze Sales Data: Monitor and analyze sales data to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide Regular Reports and Updates: Deliver regular reports and updates to management on sales activities, pipeline development, and market trends.
  • Stay Informed about Competitors and Market Conditions: Stay up-to-date on competitors and market conditions to maintain a competitive edge in the medical education industry.
  • Serve as a Brand Ambassador: Represent AMBOSS with professionalism and integrity at all times, serving as a brand ambassador for the company.
  • Attend Conferences and Industry Events: Attend conferences, seminars, and other industry events to network with potential clients and stay updated on trends in medical education.
Requirements
  • Medical Degree or Equivalent Qualification: Possess a medical degree (MD) or equivalent qualification, with a strong understanding of the medical education industry.
  • Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and pursue opportunities for business development.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with key stakeholders at medical schools.
