Senior Back-Side Metallization Equipment Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle management of back-side metallization equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our semiconductor manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- E2E Lifecycle Management: You will spearhead the technical evaluation, selection, integration, commissioning, and maintenance of back-side metallization modules and associated equipment.
- Team Leadership: Establish and nurture a competent team focused on back-side metallization equipment, enhancing skills and fostering competitiveness in equipment technology.
- Technology Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations and strategic planning for relevant manufacturing equipment, developing expertise in core technologies.
- Equipment Oversight: Manage upgrades, modifications, or replacements of equipment to enhance efficiency, stability, and throughput while addressing critical technical challenges.
Qualifications:
- Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or a related field within the semiconductor sector.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in the development or introduction of back-side metallization equipment for semiconductors.
- Hands-on experience with SiC product introduction or production in fabrication facilities is essential.
- Strong knowledge of back-side metallization processes, including grinding, sawing, laser scribing, and more.
- Ability to independently implement conversions and enhancements on equipment, alongside conducting analyses to resolve deviations.
- Familiarity with ion beam processing and extensive knowledge of equipment design architecture is preferred.
- Experience in mass production within semiconductor technology is a plus.
- Proven ability to train new staff and lead teams towards achieving objectives, with a focus on team development.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of German and/or Chinese is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
