Senior Back-Side Metallization Equipment Specialist

Role Overview: As a key player in our operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of back-side metallization equipment, ensuring optimal performance and integration within our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Lifecycle Management: You will spearhead the technical assessment, selection, integration, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of back-side metallization modules and associated machinery.
- Team Leadership: Establishing a robust team structure, you will enhance skills and foster competitiveness in equipment technology.
- Technology Assessment: Your role includes evaluating and planning for essential manufacturing technologies, building expertise in core equipment.
- Equipment Responsibility: You will manage upgrades, modifications, and replacements of equipment to enhance efficiency, stability, and throughput while addressing critical technical challenges.
Qualifications:
- A degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or a related field within the semiconductor sector.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in the development or introduction of back-side metallization equipment for semiconductors.
- Hands-on experience with SiC product introduction or production in fabrication facilities is essential.
- Strong knowledge of back-side metallization processes, including grinding, sawing, laser scribing, and chip handling.
- Proven ability to implement conversions and improvements on equipment, coupled with analytical skills to resolve deviations in production.
- Familiarity with ion beam processing and extensive knowledge of equipment design architecture is preferred.
- Experience in semiconductor mass production is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members, along with experience in technical leadership.
- Excellent communication skills in English are required; knowledge of German and/or Chinese is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
