Position Overview

As a Senior Test Equipment Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the lifecycle management of test modules and devices. Your expertise will guide the technical evaluation, selection, integration, and maintenance of cutting-edge test equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire process from the introduction to the fine-tuning and maintenance of test modules.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and manage a high-performing Test Equipment Team, enhancing skills and fostering competitiveness in device technology.
  • Technology Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments and planning for essential manufacturing equipment, building core technology knowledge.
  • Device Responsibility: Take charge of upgrades, modifications, and replacements to enhance efficiency, stability, and throughput while addressing critical technical challenges.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field within the semiconductor industry.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in the development or introduction of semiconductor test equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with SiC and silicon product introduction or production is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with test equipment suppliers and device architecture.
  • Proven ability to implement transformations and conduct independent analyses to resolve deviations in online machines and products.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor wafer test equipment, including ATE testers, sorters, and test stations, with experience in mass production.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; knowledge of German and/or Chinese is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
