As a Senior Test Equipment Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the comprehensive lifecycle management of test modules and devices. Your expertise will guide the technical evaluation, selection, introduction, integration, commissioning, fine-tuning, and maintenance of essential testing equipment.
Key Responsibilities- End-to-End Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire process from the evaluation and selection of test equipment to its integration and ongoing maintenance.
- Team Leadership: Develop and manage a high-performing Test Equipment Team, enhancing skills and fostering competitiveness in device technology.
- Technology Assessment: Conduct evaluations and plan for relevant manufacturing equipment, ensuring a robust understanding of core technologies.
- Accountability: Take charge of device upgrades, modifications, and replacements, focusing on improving efficiency, stability, and throughput while addressing critical technical challenges.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field within the semiconductor sector.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in the development or implementation of test equipment for semiconductors.
- Hands-on experience with SiC and silicon product introduction or production in fabrication facilities is preferred.
- Strong familiarity with test equipment suppliers and device architecture.
- Proven ability to independently execute transformations and enhancements on devices, along with conducting analyses and developing solutions for discrepancies in online machines and products.
- Solid knowledge of test equipment for semiconductor wafers, including ATE testers, sorters, and test stations, with experience in mass production processes being advantageous.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and assertiveness in training new team members and supporting collective goals.
- Hands-on approach and adaptability to diverse intercultural environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in German and/or Chinese is a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally for business purposes.
