Position Overview
ROLE SUMMARY
As a prominent player in the digital transformation landscape, we are on a mission to enhance our Data Practice across Europe to cater to the growing demand from our clientele. We are seeking a Director of Data Analytics in Germany, with a keen emphasis on Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This senior-level role presents a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technologies, deliver innovative ML/AI solutions, and collaborate closely with various clients and our global Data leadership teams.Key Responsibilities
Provide expert technical leadership and strategic guidance in ML and AI, steering the design, development, and deployment of ML/AI solutions for our clients. Interact with clients to comprehend their business challenges and needs, effectively illustrating how ML/AI solutions can resolve these issues. Work alongside cross-functional teams to establish project parameters, develop datasets, and apply suitable ML algorithms to produce high-quality outcomes. Identify new ML/AI opportunities, whether through solution sales or securing funding, by leveraging your technical knowledge and engaging with senior decision-makers. Define ML solutions and accurately scope and price engagements, creating optimal operational models and project team structures, while leading the transition from sales to delivery. Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction through effective project execution, clear communication, and prompt issue resolution. Engage with client stakeholders at the executive level, assisting them in driving enterprise-wide initiatives to maximize growth. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ML/AI and emerging technologies, proactively suggesting new methodologies and approaches to tackle challenges in the sectors and markets where clients operate. Support sales and pre-sales initiatives by evaluating Data opportunities, responding to RFPs, and crafting proposals and presentations.Qualifications
Extensive experience in a senior or leadership capacity within Data & Analytics/ML/AI, with a proven history of designing and implementing ML/AI solutions. Comprehensive knowledge of various architectures: CNN/RNN, Transformers, LLM, Multimodal, Foundation models, etc. Strong grasp of ML algorithms, encompassing both classical and Deep Learning methodologies. Demonstrated success in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders to secure funding or promote ML/AI projects. Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams across different regions. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with ML libraries/frameworks like PyTorch/TensorFlow. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze intricate business requirements and translate them into actionable ML/AI solutions. Fluency in both German and English is essential. A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.What We Offer
