About the Company
Our client is a service division of a well-known global corporation with a variety of business sectors, including retail and online commerce. The organization is in the midst of a major transition towards becoming a data-centric entity. The Data & Analytics division is leading this change, fostering innovation in data, analytics, and artificial intelligence across its worldwide operations.
- Full accountability for segments of the international Data & Analytics portfolio related to Buying/Procurement, from initial concept to ongoing enhancement based on value-driven objectives.
- Evaluate the potential business impact of various use cases and provide clear recommendations for prioritization aligned with strategic goals.
- Develop a roadmap for use case development in close collaboration with the broader organization, focusing on delivering incremental value.
- Guide Data & Analytics squads and empower their product owners and analytical teams to create and implement use cases, working alongside international departments.
- Proven leadership experience (7+ years) in buying-related areas (e.g., Ranging Decisions, pricing strategies, negotiations) across both technology and business sectors.
- Strong team leadership, mentoring capabilities, relationship management, stakeholder engagement, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking.
- Ability to promote an agile mindset and collaborative working methods across teams and organizations, along with excellent communication skills to foster stakeholder alignment.
- Deep understanding of data and its potential to generate value for the organization.
- Experience in big data, data science, and related industry practices is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English is essential.
