**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Controller to join our team in Essen. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and support to our senior leadership.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and maintain accurate and insightful financial reports for senior leadership, including management dashboards and key performance indicators.
  • Lead the preparation and coordination of company-wide budget planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze financial KPIs and variances, identifying areas of concern or opportunities for improvement, and providing recommendations for corrective action.
  • Design and maintain financial models to support financial planning and operational business decisions, including investment analysis and profitability assessments.
  • Provide analysis-driven support for strategic projects in Controlling and beyond, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement measures, reflecting on existing processes and identifying opportunities for enhancement.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics (focus on Controlling) or a similar level of education.
  • Proven professional experience (3+ years) in global Controlling/FP&A of a multinational company.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
  • IT savvy with excellent skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Preferably experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management and SAP.
  • Good communication and presentation skills (verbally and in writing).
  • Fluent in German and English.
