ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Mechanical Technician at Procter & Gamble, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies that yield superior products for consumers across Europe and beyond.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the mechanical design and development of new equipment within a multidisciplinary project team.
  • Independently defining mechanical specifications aligned with product design requirements.
  • Utilizing CAD and ERP systems for mechanical development.
  • Collaborating across functions with R&D, operations, and external partners in mechanical engineering.
  • Supporting innovation initiatives and conducting test runs, including installation and commissioning.
  • Preparing risk assessments related to construction.
  • Generating RFQ documents for contractor service inquiries.
  • Training and onboarding resources on mechanical equipment design.
  • Assisting senior management with data-driven insights and recommendations regarding equipment options and capabilities.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

We are seeking candidates who possess:

  • A qualification as a Mechanical Engineering Technician or a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in complex technical roles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and construction standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in managing projects independently.
  • Leadership experience with contractor teams and engineering personnel.
  • A proven track record in training and mentoring others.
  • A high level of autonomy, responsibility, and assertiveness.
  • The ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in adapting communication styles for diverse audiences and seniority levels.
  • Fluent communication skills in English.
