Head of Product Stewardship

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Global Product Stewardship: Develop and implement global product stewardship strategies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of experts in chemical safety and product responsibility to support all business units.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to improve product responsibility and chemical safety on a global scale.
  • Policy and Procedure: Ensure that all product and chemical safety policies and procedures meet legal and internal standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with relevant requirements and standards.
  • Training Programs: Develop and implement training programs for the company to enhance awareness of chemical safety and product responsibility.
  • Risk Management: Identify and evaluate risks in chemical safety and develop measures to mitigate them.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree in chemistry, environmental science, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is an asset.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in product stewardship or chemical safety, preferably in a leadership position.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of global chemical safety regulations and standards, including REACH and TOSCA.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and motivating a team of experts.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and strategic skills to develop and implement effective safety strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and verbal.
