Lead a Team of Professionals

As the Head of Procurement Strategy at Heraeus Business Solutions GmbH, you will be responsible for leading a team of three professionals and driving decisions and strategies, processes, analytics, digitalization efforts, training, and sustainability within the Heraeus Group's global procurement organization.

Identify Digitalization Potential

You will play a key role in identifying the digitalization potential in existing procurement processes, especially regarding use cases for artificial intelligence.

Establish Sustainability Framework

Furthermore, you will be responsible for establishing a sustainability framework for the procurement organizations of the Heraeus Group.

Lead Global Procurement Projects

As a project management expert, you will lead global procurement projects and ensure their successful implementation.

Implement International Regulations

You will be instrumental in implementing and ensuring the requirements of upcoming international regulations in close cooperation with the Procurement peers in our Operating Companies.

Your Profile:

  • University degree (diploma/master) in Business Administration or Engineering, or similar
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in purchasing, finance, consulting, or project management, ideally with leadership experience in an international context
  • Cutting-edge knowledge and experiences in projects, processes, tools, and systems related to Procurement, Excellence, and Digitalization Projects
  • International (working) background is highly welcomed
  • High persuasiveness and negotiation skills combined with a winning and enthusiastic personality promoting collaborative work
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken, German is a plus but not required
