**The Position**:
Step into an exciting new role within the Human Pharma Communications Leadership team. Here, you will have the opportunity to craft and execute a communication strategy and action plan for the global strategic therapy areas of Oncology and Mental Health. Your work will ensure alignment with our business and brand strategies, as well as the overall reputation plan for our global Human Pharma Business Unit. This is your chance to make a significant impact in these areas.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to guide, mentor, and coach a team of four communication experts, ensuring the delivery of strategic priorities that align with our business unit and corporate affairs objectives. This is your chance to lead and inspire a team while making a significant impact on our organization.

**Tasks & responsibilities**:

- Imagine yourself as a strategic communications business partner, steering both external and internal communications for the vital therapy areas of Oncology and Mental Health. You will be the dedicated business partner for these business teams.
- You will drive engagement with external stakeholders through powerful storytelling and will be accountable for the global content and channel strategy in support of Oncology and Mental Health brand plans, working closely with other corporate affairs functions and the regions/ countries.
- Collaborating with commercial teams, Public & Government Affairs (PGA), and patient engagement to orchestrate product launch communications, disease awareness campaigns and market shaping activities.
- You will be accountable for implementing processes and best practices for content creation, retrieval, and review.
- Moreover, you will have the chance to discover new tools to enhance operational efficiencies and collaboration, all while working towards integrated company communications.
- Finally, you will actively contribute to the success of the external communications program and functions by identifying areas for growth and evolution.

**Requirements**:

- Master's degree in communications or a related field or comparable, with a strong background and proven experience in corporate and product communications and understanding of mental health or/ and oncology would be preferably
- Demonstrated long-term experience and a successful track record in strategic leadership communications, along with extensive leadership experience in a matrixed corporate or product communications environment within a large multinational company
- Experience in a regulated industry experience required, ideally in pharma with sound crisis and issues management experience
- Excellent editorial and writing skills paired with natural curiosity, sound judgment and the ability to keep a structure in busy times
- Collaborator naturally involving many stakeholders across the matrix, ensuring collaboration, timely action, and information flows
- Fluent English (verbal and written)
