In order to support Space Systems Finance Hub, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

**Working Student in Finance (d/f/m)**:
You will be part of the project/finance controlling team and have the possibility to support in several fields of operational activities. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the controlling team contributes to the financial success of many Space projects and the related organizations. The team performs project controlling as well as financial controlling activities.

**Definition working student**:
Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- Preparation of the financial planning, as well as forecasts.
- Perform project or cost base simulations
- Produce financial reporting
- Assess the actual financial performance and analyze deviations.
- Analyze cost base, revenues, costs, margins, workload, cash-flows, R&D etc.
- Monitor materialization of savings.
- Analyze Hourly Rates
- Approve shopping carts and analyze commitments.
- Trigger costs rebooking & costs transfer when needed.

**Desired skills and qualifications**:

- Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within business administration, industrial engineering or a similar field of studies
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially in MS Excel
- Basic knowledge in SAP
- German/English reading - speaking - writing
- Team player, good communication & quick perception
- Solution oriented, pro-active and independent working style
