In order to support the Sustainability and Communications teams, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

**Working student in Sustainability and Communications (d/f/m)**:

- Location: Ottobrunn
- Start: as soon as possible
- Duration: 12 months

**Definition working student**:
Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**:
Sustainability
- to contribute to the Sustainability Ambition and Roadmap plan and support the implementation of concrete actions.
- to support the management and participate in dedicated projects.
- to assist the team in employee engagement, prepare exciting newsletters and updating and improving our Google Site.
- to contribute to the Airbus commitments and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- to develop appropriate goals, KPIs and processes for measuring performance of our domain within Airbus Defence and Space.
- to support the reduction of the environmental footprint across our european sites.
- Further we aim to inspire people to integrate sustainability in the business being role models.

**Communications**:

- to support the implementation of the local communications plan for our Ottobrunn site by developing creative communication concepts for our local topics.
- to contribute to the execution of Airbus-wide and Divisional communication campaigns.
- to collaborate with the Events & Exhibitions team for the planning and execution of local events.
- to contribute to our local social media activities with creative content creation for internal and external communications.
- to help drive efficient collaboration with our local business stakeholders, uncovering the best stories to tell.
- to support in monitoring and evaluation of news and media coverage on site level.
- to assist the Site Communications Management and work closely with our communications network in all our home nations in Europe.

**Desired skills and qualifications**:

- Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of sustainability management, environmental science, business studies, economics, communications, engineering or an equivalent field of study.
- You have a proficiency level in Google Suite.
- You already have some previous experience or deep interest in the field of Sustainability and Communications (would be a plus).
- You are creative and enjoy developing new ideas and concepts for communications.
- You are highly motivated and interested in sustainability and have a "can-do" attitude.
- You have a structured working approach and lots of initiative.
- You have good project management skills.
- You have already some experience with graphic design, an interest in photography or video editing would be a plus.
- Your English is Fluent (good German skills would be beneficial).
- You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
