- About your role:
- Fundmental phenomena of fluorescent light-induced dose rate measurement are to be investigated and the findings are to be implemented in the further development of the detector system
- Measurement campaigns are to be planned and carried out
- Further detector-developments for online-dosimetry at FLASH-Therapy should be conducted
- Software for data acquisition and evaluation will also be developed

- About you:
- Ph.D. in physics or equivalent field and qualification
- Very good technical knowledge and relevant experience in the field of detector and measurement technology, especially in the field of of dose and dose rate measurements
- Very good technical knowledge and relevant experience in the field of readout software for detector systems
- Ability to develop analysis routines with state of the art programming languages and the management of associated databases
- Experience in planning, setting up and conducting of experiments at test facilities
- Very confident in the German and English language
