**Das erwartet Sie**
We are the UKE - the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf [Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf]. A pulsating centre of health in the heart of Hamburg. Liquid biopsy has been highlighted as milestone in cancer research by the journal NATURE. Our project part will specifically involve the establishment and validation of ultra-sensitive blood tests using a comprehensive panel of sensitive liquid biopsy markers including circulating cells, cell-free DNA, proteins and metabolites.
This position is to be filled within the framework of a third-party funded project for a limited period until the end of December 2027.
**Profil/Qualifikationen**:
- A strong track record with peer-reviewed publications
- In-depth interest in translational cancer research and biomarker development
- Desriable is experience with local and national ethical guidelines
- Good English language skills
- Desirable are experiences in applied laboratory methods: immunocytochemistry, cell culture, ELISA, qPCR, ddPCR, and Next Generation Sequencing.
- Ability to work within an international consortium, organizational skills, teamwork, quick comprehension, commitment
- Experience in supervision of PhD students
