**The Work You'll Do**:
The Solution Architect - ISVs and Embedded Partners will play a pivotal role in supporting and expanding Sovos’ global ISV ecosystem and revenue stream. This role involves engaging with both current and prospective strategic ISVs throughout the pre
- and post-sale processes, ensuring they maximize the value of Sovos’ solutions through technical and compliance-related product envisioning.
As the inaugural member of a new team of experts, the Solution Architect will lead in understanding and anticipating the technical and compliance needs of ISV partners. Fluency in APIs is essential, as this role will be crucial in assuring ISV partners of Sovos solutions' capabilities now and into the future. The Solution Architect will report directly to the VP of Marketplace & eCommerce.
- More specifically, you will:_
- Collaborate with Partner Account Managers to align on new target ISVs and provide ongoing technical and growth support to existing ISV partners.
- Proactively engage target ISVs to foster collaboration towards joint embedded/white label offerings that provide unique market value.
- Lead the solutioning component of the ISV client discovery process to maximize Sovos product penetration and address unforeseen technical, compliance, and GTM challenges. Deliver a strategic solution design document detailing technical integration and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Partner Account Managers, Sales Engineers (SEs), and the Compliance Team to include ISVs in the Account Planning process, ensuring the ISV solution is well understood and maximizing co-sell motions to drive new bookings and revenue growth.
- Build relationships with ISV Product and Compliance leaders to establish trust and respect, driving ongoing value creation for new and existing partner use-cases.
- Represent Sovos at marketing events, customer advisory boards, and user groups, showcasing thought leadership.
- Partner with key Product & Professional Services resources to ensure effective implementation experiences for ISV partners.
- Act as an escalation point for support queries requiring ISV-specific input to resolve customer issues.
- Exhibit integrity and ethical behavior in all interactions with stakeholders.
- Demonstrate initiative, drive, and determination to achieve results, success, and growth.
- Maintain high energy, enthusiasm, engagement, and commitment to action.
**What We Need From You**
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in tax and/or ERP technology consulting or a similar role within the enterprise software industry.
- Proven understanding of the global tax compliance landscape, accounting basics, and indirect tax processes.
- Demonstrated experience with sophisticated enterprise integration scenarios, including IaaS, APIs, webhooks, etc.
- Previous experience supporting ISVs in pre-sales, professional services, or support capacities.
- Strong team orientation with a history of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize activities effectively.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed.
