For temporary employment of minimum 6 months OHB System AG in Oberpfaffenhofen is looking for a

Internship -Mechanisms and Robotics - Force-Torque-Sensor for Robotic Arm (M/F/d)

Your Tasks
- Review of manuals on how to install and operate the sensor
- Installation of the force torque sensor
- Sanity and functionality check (-> Check how the sensor works)
- Define scenarios to test and verify the torque sensors readings e.g. push and pull on a spring scale to check the force with an external measurement device
- Define stay-out zones within KUKA
- Limit working area of robotic arm and avoid undesired clashes with the environment
- Setup, prepare and conduct the verification tests
- Develop an interface between sensor and measurement device
- Setup robotic arm movements
- Conduct verification tests with arm and measurement device
- Documentation
- Support of the Mechanisms & Robotics team

Your Qualifications
- Enrolled in Engineering studies (mechanical or similar)
- Basic knowledge in CAD software tools (e.g. CATIA or other)
- Good English skills, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of MS Office tools
