**How you'll make an impact**:
**HR Administration** **(~**8**0%)**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for our talents, providing guidance on HR and payroll matters throughout the entire work cycle of a trivago talent
- Create employment contracts and HR-related documents
- Assist our talents during visa and work permit processes, facilitating their integration into our team in Düsseldorf
- Maintain personnel files and master data in the relevant HR management system (Workday)

**Payroll Specialist** **(~**2**0%)**:

- Drive the monthly payroll preparation process, ensuring accurate and timely salary payments for all employees
- Input and review all payroll-related records, including bonuses, long-term leaves, relocation reimbursements, and more
- Perform monthly audit checks
- Closely coordinate with our external payroll provider

**General responsibilities**:

- Actively participate in the ongoing optimization of processes, taking over focus topics and projects
- Collaborate closely with various trivago teams, including HR Business Partners, Workday developers, and other stakeholders

**What you'll need to thrive**:

- Relevant work experience in HR administration and/or payroll preparation
- Solid understanding of labor law, with a focus on Germany
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English (our company language)
- Demonstrated growth mindset and a great sense of ownership
- Problem-solving mentality and high degree of service orientation
- Experience with HCM tools, preferably Workday
- Keen attention to detail and proficiency in Excel
