In order to support Airbus Procurement we are looking for a

**Buyer for Engineering Services (M/F/d)**:
Fully integrated in the Procurement organization, GP’s mission is to procure goods and services on behalf of all Airbus Divisions. GP employs more than 500 professionals on around 40 sites in Europe as well as in China, India and the US.

At Engineering Services Procurement, we are responsible for procuring services for Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Customer Services, across all Airbus divisions. We are managing a spend with more than 60 team members spread over different sites in Europe and we are a key player in DDMS (Digital Design, Manufacturing and Services) adapting sourcing transformation.

This gives you an opportunity to actively support the future services development.

**Your location**

The largest production site for civil aircraft can be found in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe means that you will travel to work by ship. The vibrant port of Hamburg is a green and cosmopolitan city brimming with culture.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- Be the manager for Airworthiness / Certification / Aircraft Architecture for their subcontracting activities and cross functional / divisional activities and specific german activities
- Promote and implement strategy agreed with the Engineering governance bodies strategy
- Contribute to the MFT (Multi-functional team) and/or MDT (Multi-divisional team) strategy
- Define and develop synergies, end to end approach with Engineering and with suppliers
- Contribute to Supplier’s development in digitalization and innovation
- Manage projects and call for tenders with multi-divisional and trans-national scope
- Ensure continuous commercial relationship with suppliers to protect from risks.
- Fulfill business needs and deliver initiatives contributing to value for Business
- Assess supplier performance and lead Contract Review Meeting (CRM) with Engineering.
- Secure DDMS (Digital Design Manufacturing Services) business needs for your scope.
- Drive Cross Engineering projects and innovative way of working within AIRBUS Divisions
- Ensure efficient communication to the top management

**Desired skills and qualifications**:

- Degree in Engineering and/or Business school or equivalent
- Procurement experience, with strong negotiation skills and contract management experience and Engineering skills
- Capacity to work autonomously, to be a great team player and project leader, to deal appropriately with different stakeholders.
- Like to work in dynamic collaborative team like to develop new digital way of working
- Proven skills in communication, customer focused and solution oriented
- Excellent skills in teamwork and transparency with ability to motivate teams
- English and German is mandatory
