**Senior Buyer Cabin Electronics D/M/W**

**About the team**

We are located in Hamburg and with Networks all around the globe - handling the end to end commercial responsibility for various Cabin & Cargo Electronics systems, which are differentiators for the airlines in the market. The team belongs to the wider Cabin & Cargo organization which aims to keep our products up to date in terms of technical features but also design language. We are not only striving for excellence in what we do, but for joint enjoyment on how we do it.

**Your location**

The largest production site for civil aircraft can be found in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe means that you will travel to work by ship. The vibrant port of Hamburg is a green and cosmopolitan city brimming with culture.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**
- Develop and implement Sourcing
- & negotiation strategies
- Management of contracts throughout the full life cycle of the products
- Ensuring compliance between contracts terms & conditions and the activities conducted by the supplier and by Airbus
- Alignment across the different Company functions (mainly Programs, Supply Chain, Engineering and Customer Services) for purchased products
- Professional and trusting supplier relationship management with aeronautical industry players of all sizes and uphold the Company ethics and compliance standards in all your dealings
- Fulfill business needs and deliver initiatives contributing to value for Business
- Assess supplier performance and lead Contract Review Meeting (CRM) with Engineering.
- Definition of sourcing strategies and ensure that the associated action plan is implemented
- Collaborate with suppliers and other Airbus functions to accelerate innovations bringing value and differentiation for our customers through workshops aimed at fostering stakeholders alignment
- Proactively manage supply chain risks and deviations/litigations and manage transversal change projects.
- Implement and manage international call for tenders and commercial support to technical changes
- Support rating campaign and ensure appropriate follow-up of measures.
- Work with Customer services to get customer feedback, expectations on products and define & implement Airbus aftermarket strategy for your perimeter, enabling new services and creating value for our Customer
- Manage supplier performance with regards to in service events
- Drive and implement solutions for conflicts arising from diverse interests of functions and the world-wide cabin supplier market
- Secure the availability of contractual agreements as the basis for the overall Airbus Sourcing strategy and Airbus Supply Chain
- Secure DDMS (Digital Design Manufacturing Services) business needs for your scope.
- Drive Cross Engineering projects and innovative way of working within AIRBUS Divisions
- Ensure efficient communication to the top management

**Desired skills and qualifications**
- 5-year degree level in Engineering or Business school
- Experience in Engineering, Programmes, Procurement Operations or Customer Support with efficient project management is a plus
- Effective contract and international negotiator with proven commercial and contractual background and legal awareness
- Experience in supplier relationship Management and Procurement, or other equivalent experience in managing external stakeholders
- Good technical understanding of Aircraft systems is a plus
- High level of international communication skills
- Display authentic leadership behavior and values that people and teams want to follow
- Creative, proactive in challenging the status quo through your ability to propose new ways of working
- Team-Player and strong analytical skills and strategic thinking, business mindset
- Negotiation level of English
