**The Opportunity**:

As a member of the ZEROe project, you will join a team of highly motivated and valuable people who are involved in aircraft concept exploration, technology development, next generation industrial system definition and future hydrogen ecosystem preparation that will shape the development of our zero-emission aviation.

**Your Accountabilities
As part of Airbus and to accelerate the development of ZEROe within the industrial team, you will ensure design for manufacturing the fuel cell system module for future aviation use, defining the related industrial means (jigs & tools) and to support its industrialisation (make and buy perimeter).

Your target will be to co-design jointly with engineering the optimum design solution and with the lead industrial architect the industrial system (make and buy) for this key product of the development program.

**Your Main Responsibilities**

As such:

- You will ensure design for manufacturing for a Fuel Cell Systems by working in co-design with Engineering, including the selection of appropriate manufacturing technologies for module assembly, system installation, physical integration and quality control,
- You will define the industrial means, e.g. jigs and tools for the manufacturing and assembly of fuel cell system, including automation, digitalization and robotics,
- You will contribute to the definition of the industrial system for the required deliveries to customers and identify capex needs for in-house capabilities / capacities,
- You will support the demonstration of industrial system performance using a combination of physical and digital validation tools,
- You will contribute to the supply chain landscape exploration by technically leading industrial topics,
- You will manage and network with internal and external industrial and academic partners.

**Who we Are Looking For
Because ZEROe is preparing the future of aviation, we look for a highly skilled and passionate colleague, able to bring his/her energy and expertise into the Airbus engineering universe.

As such:

- You have a master degree in engineering, science or equivalent, a PhD would be plus,
- You have at least 3 years professional experience in aeronautics, automotive or other industries, knowledge in specific and non-specific design work preferably with for airframe, equipment, systems and cabin product development, fuel cell system design would be a plus,
- You have knowledge of the basic function of fuel cell stack and system, whereas experience in hydrogen management would be a plus,
- You understand industrial production requirements and have gathered first experience in jigs and tools definition,
- First leadership experience and some years experience in trans-national and multicultural project teams would be a plus,
- You are experienced in project management and in working in a research and technology context,
- You are a highly motivated, solution-oriented and open-minded person with a great sense of initiative, the ability to adapt to change and to manage confidential topics,
- You show strong communication, networking and collaboration skills combined with a strong focus on speak-up culture and the competency to identify optimization potentials,
- Your English is at a negotiation level, German would be a plus.
