**Strategic Buyer - Renewable Energy (d/f/m)**

**Your location**

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. **Your tasks and responsibilities**
- Lead procurement activities within the Energy categories power or gas.
- Within a Multi-Functional-Team (MFT) for Energy you lead the definition, improvement and implementation of a sourcing strategy for your category across all AIRBUS group divisional internal customers.
- Guide the execution of the green energy transformation strategy across all AIRBUS group in support of all customers and lead efforts in influencing corporate approaches to decarbonisation.
- Perform international and cross-divisional CFTs, within the scope of the category. Conduct negotiations, Supplier selection and contracting.
- Negotiate, establish, implement and regularly review transnational and trans-divisional Contracts in the frame of the respective category strategy.
- Perform contract management activities with regular contract reviews with AIRBUS group’ internal customer base and strategic suppliers, based on consistent and factual commercial, quality and delivery KPIs.
- Manage the day to day relationships with suppliers and running projects to optimize customer value, while minimizing total cost of ownership and risks.

**Desired skills and qualifications**
- University degree from an Engineering/Business school or in Energy or Sustainability related fields.
- Several years of professional experience in the Energy sector.
- Experience with Power Purchase Agreements / Gas Purchase Agreements or renewable energy generation.
- Successful work experience related to renewable energy regulation, renewable generation projects and decarbonisation initiatives is desirable.
- Several years of experience in negotiating and contract management is a bonus.
- Negotiation level of English and ideally another Airbus core language (German, French, Spanish).
- The successful applicant will have to be a great team player and project leader, dealing appropriately with different (in particular senior) stakeholders.
- Exceptional communicator: great relationship builder/manager, able to work cross-functionally and able to communicate intangible results in a clear and compelling way.
- Entrepreneurial, outcome-oriented and persistent with the ability to operate and drive results independently.
- Adaptable to ever changing external factors and environments.
- Creative, proactive in challenging the status quo.
- Agility with IT solutions and cloud-based working environment.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
